Welcome to My Portfolio!
My name is Jennifer Cerello. I am a grade ten student-athlete at Blyth Academy and an aspiring BC team athlete. I’m a competitive athlete and academic student. This year my goals and aspirations are to stay safe and healthy during my ski season, and I hope to be able to compete at every race during the season. My most important achievements are: I have been on the honour roll many times; I am the current Giant Slalom champion in the BC Kootenay Zone; and the fastest female GS skier in my club out of all ages. One quirky fact about me is that I have a high spice tolerance!
Some Facts About Me!
I am a ski racer! And every winter I go out west to train in British Columbia: I live there in the winter. I have been skiing all my life, but I have only been racing the last couple of years.
Some Interesting Things About Me
I Love Sports
My main sport is ski racing! And every winter I go out west to train in British Columbia: I live there in the winter. I have been skiing all my life, but I have only been racing the last couple of years.
As a hobby, I wake surf and board! During the summer, I will go up north to Muskoka with my family and friends, and we'll spend hours on the boat doing sports and just having fun!
I also enjoy playing golf. I have been golfing for about 5 years now, and I find it very fun! It is such a enjoyable sport, but incredibly hard. I never knew that lifting a metal stick and hitting a ball was so complicated.
Where I've Visited
Over the summer I visit many different countries and cities. One of the most memorable trips I have ever gone on was when my family went to Botswana, Africa. It was the trip of a lifetime, and I saw incredible things during my stay!
I've been to a lot of different places, but one country that will always have my heart is Italy. I love the food, the culture, and how active daily life is. I have always enjoyed being active, and I think Italy is the best place to be!
I'm going to be honest, the best mountain I've ever skied has to be my home mountain; Red Mountain. I might sound biased... but it's true. I've skied at multiple resorts across the country, the province, and even in internationally; and I still think Red is the best!
